Mother's Day gift ideas
Fan Girl favorites (MN based women clothing that is affordable, cute, and comfy. Cheer on some of your favorite MN sports including Wild, Vikings, and Twins)—
Skol V-Neck long sleeve jersey tee
Skol Vintage Scrimmage Pullover
Lululemon favorites —
Pace Rival Skirt- I got this skirt a couple years ago and absolutely love it. It’s so cute and a fun alternative to shorts.
Align Pant 28'“- Most comfy leggings I own…so worth the price. I live in these probably 5/7 days a week;)
Sculpt Tank II- This is a great tank top for running around in or for any workout. It’s not too tight (which I prefer) and the material is awesome.
Adidas favorites—
Ultraboost Laceless shoes - My favorite workout shoes! I have two pairs and wear them to the gym everyday whether I’m running or lifting!
Saturday Plus Cap- If you or your mom are hat kind of girls this one is great! And it goes with everything!
Nite Jogger shoes- These are super different but I love them. They are so comfy and give a little personality to your outfit!
Book/Devotion options—
Embraced by Lysa Terkeurst - I’ve heard great things and I love how inspiring and real Lysa is. (I actually just bought this devotion for myself lol), Jesus Calling (quick and easy daily devotional), I love all Karen Kingsbury books (She is a Christian author and her books are so inspiring and intriguing) (One Tuesday Morning/ Beyond Tuesday Morning are two of my favorites)
Random gift ideas—
Back massager (something like this)- We have one of these and it’s awesome. I carry a lot of stress and tension on my shoulders and back so this is amazing.
Stacked — These bracelets are super cute and can be dressed up or down. You can stack them or wear them separate. I stack about 6 bracelets for Viking game days and they are my good luck bracelets. Some of them have sayings on them or numbers.
Mama Bear mug, Wine socks, Mama necklace, Bella sunglasses (Diff eyewear) (-I have these and they’re so cute), Bath & Body works candles(love these)
Also a go to gift for me and most women, whether it’s my bday or Mothers day is a nice spa day. Especially with young kids it’s so nice to get alone time to unwind. There are tons of good spa day options that you could get for your mom! Whether it’s a pedicure or a gift card for a spa afternoon. I also would recommend a facial or full body massage from your favorite local spa. I usually go to Spalon Montage but am trying out Woodhouse day Spa in Woodbury this year. They have a couple nice Mothers day spa package options and I already booked one for my mom and I:)
Other good gift options that require little or no money just your time and love include; breakfast in bed or her cook her favorite meal for dinner, homemade card (listing all the reasons you’re thankful for mom), her favorite flowers (candy is a bonus), doing chores around the house, or making a special homemade gift.
I am so thankful to God for blessing me with two healthy boys. Motherhood is the hardest and most challenging thing but it’s also the best thing ever. Being able to help shape my boys grow into hopefully one day great men of faith, integrity, and love is my ultimate goal. I am blessed to be home with them everyday and even though some days I wish I worked a regular job to get away from the chaos, I wouldn’t trade being with them for anything. Whether you’re a working mom or SAHM we all have our challenges and I applaud every single one of you for doing the best you can every day! On your good days and bad days just know that all moms have the same moments where they think they are messing up or can’t do it but God made you a mother for a reason and you are strong enough to get through! I hope everyone has a great Mother’s day! Whether you’re a mom, mom to be, grandma, or mom like figure to someone just know you are doing great and these little people need you and are thankful for you even if they don’t always show it:)
